Federal prosecutors in Philadelphia unsealed charges on Thursday (January 15) against 20 individuals in a sweeping alleged conspiracy to manipulate college basketball games through bribery and point-shaving for illegal gambling profits. The 70-page indictment targeted 15 former Division I NCAA players, many from the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, along with five others described as fixers, including high-stakes gamblers, trainers, and influencers.
