Newly released records from the United States Justice Department probe into the crimes and trafficking network of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have brought into the limelight a 2010 email sent by Eva Andersson-Dubin, an ex-girlfriend and associate of the disgraced financier.

The US Department of Justice, on Friday, released the latest cache of the Epstein Files, which drew attention to multiple high-profile individuals, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, and US President Donald Trump, among others.

The email, included in a fresh tranche of documents under the ‘Epstein Files’, was sent two years after Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to soliciting a minor for prostitution and was sentenced to prison for a brief period in 2008.

It is believed that at the time of the email, Dubin’s daughter, Celina, was 15 years old. “Come and visit next week, Celina will have 5 friends over", she wrote.

In one of the messages, Dubin appeared clueless about who approached her via email. In one exchange, she wrote, “Who is this??????" To this, Epstein replied, “My new hei," followed by “Sent from my iPhone", as shown in the documents.

The fact that emails were exchanged after Jeffrey had already been registered as a sex offender has raised many questions.

According to a report in Vanity Fair, Eva and her billionaire hedge fund husband Glenn Dubin re-welcomed Epstein into the social circle after he was released from prison.

‘100% Comfortable With Epstein…’

In one of the messages from 2009, Eva Dubin wrote to Epstein’s probation officer. While she acknowledged his conviction, she also asserted that she was “100% comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around (her) children".

Who Is Eva Andersson-Dubin?

According to a report by India Today, Eva Dubin is a former Ford Model who won Miss Sweden in 1980. Born in Uddevalla, Sweden, she attended UCLA medical school and also dated Jeffrey Epstein on and off throughout the 1980s.

Eventually, she got married to Glenn Dubin in 1994. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the duo remained friends for decades, the report mentioned.
