Rapper Chocolate MC Arrested: The rapper allegedly forced the fan at gunpoint to his vehicle.

Cuban rapper Chocolate MC, real name Yosvanis Sierra-Hernandez, was arrested in Florida, on charges of armed kidnapping and robbery. The incident began outside a grocery store in Opa-locka when a fan approached Chocolate MC for a photo. Instead, the rapper allegedly forced the fan at gunpoint to his vehicle, pressed the firearm to the victim’s chest and demanded cash, it was reported.

When the victim showed an empty wallet, Chocolate MC reportedly tried to have him send money via the payment app Zelle. When the victim could not give the money, the rapper then ordered them to drive him to several locations over approximately two hours before releasing him unharmed near 270 SW 11th Avenue.

CCTV footage from the store supported the victim’s account and a flyer was circulated to help locate Chocolate MC following which he was arrested and a grey and black firearm were recovered from him.

“Yosvanis Sierra demanded cash from the victim, the victim showed him his wallet, which was empty and had no cash. Yosvanis Sierra demanded that the victim send him money via Zell (sic) and give his phone number to the victim to do so. The victim stated he did not have Zell (sic) and was unable to do the transaction," the arrest report noted.

Chocolate MC’s Checkered Past

Chocolate MC now faces charges of kidnapping with a firearm, armed robbery and written threats to kill or injure but this is not his first legal trouble. In May 2024, Chocolate MC was accused of kidnapping and raping his ex-girlfriend, forcibly taking her from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach County. He also faced allegations of plotting a murder-for-hire by offering money on social media to target an inmate linked to the murder of singer El Taiger.
