Honor has confirmed that its new phone in India, the Honor X9C will make its debut on 7 July with an Amazon exclusive partnership. Ahead of the launch, the company has also revealed many of the key specifications of the device including its colour variants, processor, storage options, display and camera details.

Honor X9C specifications:

Honor X9C will feature a 6.78 inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz of PWM dimming. The upcoming device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor which was previously seen on Oppo F29 and Realme P1 Pro.

The X9C will come in an 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant but there is no clarity yet on if there will be other models as well. Much like other Honor phones, the X9C will run on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15 and the company is also promising a number of AI features in the new skin.

The phone will pack a 6,600mAh silicon carbon battery with support for 66W of fast charging. It will come in two colour variants: Titanium Black and Jade Cyan.

On the optics front, X9C will come with a 108MP primary shooter with OIS and EIS. While the company doesn't disclose the details of other camera sensors, a look at the device's global counterpart tells us that it could be a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 16MP front facing shooter.

The phone is likely to come with IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, meaning it should potentially be able to withstand a bit of splashes and light rainfall but not full submersion under water.

The Honor X9C will come with a thickness of 7.98mm and is expected to weigh in under 200 grams. Honor says its latest phone will go on sale in India on 12 July on Amazon.
