Iran has presented to Pakistan the “amended proposal of framework" for permanent end of conflict with US and Israel, said sources.
The control Of Hormuz Strait, release Of Iranian frozen assets, how to deal with nuclear enrichment and other major factors are the parts of the ‘amended framework’, said top diplomatic and security sources in Tehran and Pakistan.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas vtravelled to Muscat on Pakistan’s Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir’s Plane. Pakistan Army Chief’s Gulfstream G600 Jet took Araghchi From Nur Khan Airbase to Muscat on Saturday.
Araghchi may not travel to Moscow as per schedule and return back to Islamabad likely from Muscat for continuation of consultations on proposed ‘amended framework’, said a source.
Russian delegation is likely to join Iran and Oman officials in Muscat meetings, said the source.
Top intelligence officials from Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Tukrey, Egypt and Pakistan may likely be part of Muscat meetings, said source.
“The Iranian side wants to take Muscat on board as Oman shares Strait Of Hormuz boundaries with Iran. Tehran wants full control of the Hormuz Strait with Oman and a working mechanism is under discussion," said sources.
After Muscat meetings, the minister is likely to reach Islamabad back within 24 hours. Some members of Iranian delegation have returned to Tehran on IRAN05 plane for more consultations, said the source.
Pakistan officials are working on Iran’s amended framework for conflict resolution. Pakistan has shared Iran’s amended framework to end the war with United States officials last night. Multiple options were discussed, said a source.
According to a statement issued by Araghchi on Telegram, the Iranian Foreign Minister explained Iran’s “principled positions regarding the latest developments related to the ceasefire and the complete end of the imposed war" against the Islamic Republic by US and Israeli forces to the Pakistani side.
