Israel, Iran confirm ceasefire hours after Trump announcement: ‘Achieved war goals against Iran,’ says Netanyahu

Iran-Israel War: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that the country has accepted a ceasefire and that it has achieved its war goals against Iran. Iran has also confirmed the ceasefire.

Iranian state television also reported that the ceasefire went into effect at 7:30 AM, but Iranian officials have not commented since Trump’s announcement. Hours earlier, Iran's top diplomat said the country was prepared to halt airstrikes.
