A newly resurfaced video shows convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein speaking about himself and Donald Trump during a 2010 deposition, five years before Trump announced his presidential run and nearly a decade before Epstein’s death by apparent suicide.
In the footage, posted on X by progressive media outlet MeidasTouch, an attorney asked Epstein if he had a “personal relationship” with Trump.
“What do you mean by ‘personal relationship,’ sir?” Epstein replied.
“Have you socialized with him?” the attorney asked.
“Yes, sir,” Epstein answered.
“Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?” the attorney asked.
Epstein took a long pause, which included a slight shake of his head, and finally responded: “Though l’d like to answer that question, at least today, l’m going to have to assert my Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendment rights, sir.”
The contents of the video have been previously reported. However, the footage itself had not been widely seen.

Trump and Epstein were once close friends but had a falling out in 2004, reportedly over a real estate dispute. Epstein’s first arrest was in 2006, leading to his eventual conviction for sex crimes, followed by a new arrest in 2019. He died in custody later that year, apparently of suicide, while awaiting trial on allegations of trafficking underage girls and other charges.
Trump’s relationship with Epstein has come under new scrutiny in recent weeks after the Justice Department said it would not be releasing any additional files related to the case, despite Trump’s repeated promises to do so.
Last month, former Trump ally Elon Musk posted on X that the president won’t release the files because Trump himself is in them.
He later deleted the post.

Documents released previously have included a long list of powerful people with links to Epstein, including Trump. However, those documents did not allege any wrongdoing by those people.
