JD Vance was heckled by anti-war protestors during a Turning Point USA event at the University of Georgia, with the Vice President facing frequent interruptions during his speech.

The disruption began when Vance was delivering his address, when a protestor shouted, “Jesus doesn’t support genocide!"

“You’re killing children!" another protestor shouted, accusing the Trump administration of supporting Israel’s war on Gaza.

This was not all. Moments later, another voice followed, “Jesus Christ does not support genocide".

Another protestor added, “You’re bombing children".

How Did Vance Respond?

JD Vance, who recently led the U.S. delegation to Islamabad to hold peace negotiations with Iran, responded, “I agree Jesus Christ does not support genocide. Whoever yelled that out from the dark… He certainly does not. I think that’s pretty easy. I think that’s a pretty easy principle."

However, he was again stopped by a protestor mid-speech. In response, the Vice President continued, “I believe he said, ‘the (Trump) administration supports a genocide in Gaza.’ And here’s my response to that, when we came in, the humanitarian situation in Gaza was an absolute catastrophe. You know, who’s the person who got a peace agreement in Gaza? Donald J. Trump!"

As the confrontation escalated, a protestor shouted, “You’re killing children". JD Vance, in response, highlighted how the Trump administration has been sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza strip.

“Excuse me, sir… right now, you see more humanitarian aid coming in Gaza than at any time in the past five years because we have taken that situation seriously."

The Turning Point USA gathering came close to the heels of President Trump’s remarks on Pope Leo XIV. Posting a controversial meme, featuring himself as Jesus Christ, Trump targeted the pontiff over his criticism of the ongoing war in Iran.
