Ambassador Sergio Gor praised PM Modi and Trump for achieving a breakthrough interim trade deal focused on "reciprocal, mutually beneficial trade."

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Saturday praised the breakthrough in bilateral trade, crediting the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump for the achievement.
In a post on X, Gor wrote, “A new day! All credit to President Trump and Prime Minister Modi for their leadership and vision in achieving this."
The announcement follows India and the US unveiling a framework for an interim trade agreement focused on “reciprocal and mutually beneficial trade."
