Minority safety in Sindh
According to local media reports, the victim’s family, including his wife, young children and elderly parents, have staged a protest seeking justice. They have demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and have appealed to the authorities for protection. The family said they fear further threats and intimidation.
The killing has reportedly caused outrage among minority rights groups and local communities. Rights activists said the incident highlights ongoing concerns about violence, insecurity and lack of justice faced by religious minorities in rural Pakistan. Local media outlet Sindh Renaissance reported that such incidents are not uncommon.
According to human rights activists, delays in arrests and investigations encourage impunity and deepen fear among vulnerable communities.
