Protesters turned out in force Saturday for “No Kings” rallies in the United States, and around the world, held in opposition to President Donald Trump and the policies of his second term.

“Masked secret police terrorizing our communities. An illegal, catastrophic war putting us in danger and driving up our costs. Attacks on our freedom of speech, our civil rights, our freedom to vote. Costs pushing families to the brink,” reads the “No Kings” website. “Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant.”

It was the third event of its kind since the first “No Kings” day in June. White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson called the protests “Trump derangement therapy sessions,” telling The New York Times, “the only people who care” are “the reporters who are paid to cover them.”
