Chinese influencer Zhou Yuan, dubbed the “Godmother of Sexual Intelligence", is drawing widespread after earning over Rs 32 crore through courses teaching women flirtation techniques, seductive gazes, and other methods aimed at attracting men.
Zhou, in her late 40s and from Changsha, Hunan province, left her banking career to start a beauty salon before founding the Black and White Sexual Intelligence School.
She defines sexual intelligence as the ability to attract men through a combination of sexual ability, psychological insight, and personal charm, South China Morning Post reported.

Her online and offline courses went viral on mainland social media, amassing more than 200,000 followers. In one video, Zhou demonstrates a technique for eye contact, advising women to “form an X shape with your eyes and body".
In another, she teaches how to use a flirtatious tone, telling women to “soften your voice and raise the pitch at the end of each word" while complimenting their partners.
Course prices range from 9.9 yuan (US$1.5) for online lessons to 88,000 yuan (US$13,000) for exclusive workshops. According to reports, her paid courses have generated over 24 million yuan (US$3.5 million), attracting tens of thousands of participants.
Zhou also runs offline events, including a two-day “Sexy Revelation" camp in Xiamen last year, where women explored “the science of body pleasure" and received lectures on sexual wisdom. Many attendees are reportedly successful women seeking to revive their marriages.
However, Zhou has faced criticism, with some accusing her of running “mistress training" or teaching women to “pander to men". Critics have also called her content sexually suggestive and formulaic, claiming it reduces female empowerment to calculated techniques.
Zhou has said her courses are meant to empower women, helping them gain confidence and assert control in relationships.
Despite her social media accounts being banned last week, phrases such as “send your gaze" and “form your body into an X shape" have become viral memes, sparking discussion on gender values and sexual empowerment in China.
