Three Indians were moderately injured after a drone attack by Iran caused a fire at a major UAE oil industry zone on Monday. This marked the first attack by Iran on a Gulf neighbour since a fragile ceasefire was struck with the United States on April 8.

The Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi informed that three Indian nationals were injured in the Iranian attack. “We are in touch with local authorities for ensuring adequate medical care and welfare of the affected Indian nationals," it said.
