President Donald Trump unleashed his wrath on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer amid their ongoing feud.

In a scathing post on Truth Social Wednesday, Trump accused Schumer of “extortion” and called out the Democratic party as “thugs.”

Trump’s comments came after the Senate headed into recess last week without reaching a deal to confirm the world leader’s 150-plus nominees, despite his repeated demands for the upper chamber to do so. The move has left Republicans angered with Schumer and Senate Democrats over the stalemate.

“Politically embattled Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, wants the Republicans to pay, as EXTORTION, TWO BILLION DOLLARS in order for the Radical Left Democrats to approve the hundreds of Trump Appointments who have been waiting for months, and are raring’ to go,” the POTUS wrote.

Trump then argued that “never in U.S. history” have the president’s nominees been impeded in the Senate in such a manner.

“This has never happened before. There has never, in U.S. history, been such a delay. THEY ARE EXTORTIONISTS!,” he added. “Republicans must create legislation in order to get out of the grasp of these Country hating THUGS. Move quickly!!! MAGA”

Reports said that Schumer and Senate Democrats asked Republican leaders to release billions of dollars of government funds in exchange for confirming Trump’s nominees, which appeared to prompt Trump to claim in his Wednesday post that they wanted a $2 billion “extortion.”

“They wanted us to pay, originally, two billion dollars for approvals. The Dems are CRAZED LUNATICS!!!,” Trump previously alleged in a separate Aug. 3 Truth Social post.

As nominees remain up in the air, Trump raged at Schumer last week, telling him to “GO TO HELL!”

Meanwhile, Schumer has appeared to take Trump’s criticisms in stride.

“Donald Trump attempted to steamroll the Senate to put in place his historically unqualified nominees, but Senate Democrats wouldn’t let him,” Schumer said in a video on X while standing at a lectern. “In a fit of rage, Trump threw in the towel, sent Republicans home, and was unable to do the basic work of negotiating. Is this the ‘art of the deal’?”
