What Donald Trump Said On Israel Violating Ceasefire
Donald Trump, visibly angered, accused Israel of launching a massive bombing campaign immediately after the truce was reached. He said Israel “dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before," and warned Tel Aviv in a Truth Social post, saying, “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!"
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office Shares Iran Strike Timeline
Benjamin Netanyahu’s office offered a different timeline saying that the ceasefire was scheduled to begin at 07:00 local time and that Israel struck targets in Tehran at 03:00, well before the ceasefire came into effect. The statement further claimed that Iran launched missiles both before and after the agreed ceasefire, including one that killed four civilians in Be’er Sheva.
In response to those violations, the Israeli Air Force destroyed a radar site near Tehran, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said, adding that Israel refrained from further attacks after a phone call between Donald Trump and the Israeli PM. During the call, Donald Trump praised Israel for achieving its war objectives and expressed confidence in the ceasefire’s stability, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office further said.
Iran denied launching missiles after the ceasefire began.
Donald Trump-Benjamin Netanyahu’s Call On Ceasefire Violation
Donald Trump spoke with Benjamin Netanyahu and was “exceptionally firm and direct" about what needed to happen to sustain the ceasefire with Iran, CNN reported citing an unnamed White House source. As per the report, Benjamin Netanyahu understood the severity of the situation as well as Donald Trump’s concerns.
