US-Israel Iran War Ceasefire News Latest Updates Today Live: US President Donald Trump warned on Monday that the ceasefire in the West Asia war was on “life support” after rejecting Iran’s latest counteroffer, while Tehran said its military was prepared to respond to any act of aggression.

The ceasefire has been in place since April 8, but diplomatic efforts to end the conflict have so far failed to make progress. Talks between the US and Iran stalled on Monday after Trump termed Tehran’s response to his proposal as “totally unacceptable”.

Iran had sent its response to the latest US proposal on Sunday morning through Pakistan, which has emerged as the main mediator between the two countries.
