United States Central Command shared a video of recent military strikes on social media, accompanied by a warning from Pete Hegseth, the United States Secretary of Defense, who said the United States would respond forcefully to threats against its citizens anywhere in the world.

In a post on X, the command shared footage of attacks and quoted Hegseth as saying, “If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on earth, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation and we will kill you."

The development comes days after the United States and Israel carried out coordinated strikes on Iran, targeting key government and military facilities, including the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other senior leadership sites.

Iranian state media reported that Khamenei was killed in the attacks, along with members of his family, including his daughter and granddaughter.

Tehran responded with a wave of missile attacks targeting Gulf nations that host United States military installations, including Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Missiles and drones were also launched toward United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, escalating tensions across the Gulf region.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said there would be “no deal with Iran except unconditional surrender." Amid the escalating conflict in West Asia, Trump asserted that Tehran must capitulate before any diplomatic negotiations can take place.

“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER! After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
