YouTube down? Thousands of users report issues with video streaming platform

Service problems have hit YouTube, as indicated by over 7,000 reports on Downdetector around 6AM India time. Users expressed their concerns on social media, questioning if the outage was universal or isolated.

YouTube is experience service issues, according to multiple posts on social media websites and outage tracking website Downdetector. The outage seems to have peaked around morning with Downdetector data showwing over 7,000 reports around 6AM India time.

“Me rushing to Twitter to check if #YouTube is down for everyone or just my WiFi acting up 😭” noted one user on X

“youtube down when i literally just sat down to eat dinner” added another user.
