After President Trump deleted an AI-generated “Jesus” portrait claiming he was just a doctor, Iran’s Embassy in Tajikistan fired back with a satirical video

Iran Embassy Adds A 'Jesus Climax' To Trump's Deleted Truth Social Post, Video Goes Viral
In a move that has set social media ablaze, the Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan (@IRANinTJ) released a refurbished video featuring a “Jesus climax" that directly parodies a deleted post by U.S. President Donald Trump. The viral clash underscores a growing trend in modern warfare, especially in the US-Israel-Iran war – the use of AI memes and “diplomatic trolling" to dominate the narrative.
Trump’s “Jesus" (or Doctor?) Post
The controversy began when President Trump shared a highly stylised, AI-generated image on Truth Social. The artwork depicted Trump in a white robe with a red sash—imagery deeply reminiscent of traditional portrayals of Jesus Christ. Trump is shown placing a hand on the head of an elderly man in a hospital bed, while a “holy" glow emanates from his other hand.
Surrounding the bed are nurses, soldiers, and civilians in prayer. The background is a dense collage of American nationalism: the Statue of Liberty, the Lincoln Memorial, fighter jets, bald eagles, and winged angels in a firework-filled sky.
The post, shared shortly after Trump criticised Pope Leo XIV for his calls for peace in Iran, was immediately labelled “blasphemous" by critics and even some staunch supporters.
Trump eventually deleted the post, later telling reporters he didn’t realize the religious connotations. “I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support… It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better," Trump told reporters.
Tehran was quick to capitalise on the blunder. President Masoud Pezeshkian formally condemned the post, framing it as a desecration of a prophet revered in Islam. Meanwhile, Iran’s diplomatic accounts took a more aggressive, satirical route. The Iranian Embassy in South Africa mocked Trump by resharing his associations with Jeffrey Epstein, but it was the Embassy in Tajikistan that delivered the viral “final blow." Their refurbished video takes the original AI imagery and adds a dramatic twist: Jesus descends from the heavens, not to stand with Trump, but to knock the President into “hell."
The “Jesus Climax" video has triggered a firestorm of reactions, ranging from geopolitical jabs to pure disbelief at the state of 2026 diplomacy. One user wrote: “Jesus would never punch anyone. AI is the only weapon you have left after USA destroyed. How does it feel to be choked off of your oil revenue? Ready to agree to our terms yet?"
Others were completely baffled. “This is not what I thought they meant when they said AI would change how we fight wars," wrote another user on X, while one user wrote: “The way this is all going to be taught about in history classes…"
