The White House has unveiled a new website called Aliens.gov, drawing attention with a UFO-inspired design, eerie messaging and references to extraterrestrial conspiracies. However, visitors expecting information about alien life or classified UFO files will instead find a platform focused on illegal immigration and deportation data.

The website, launched by the Donald Trump administration on Thursday, opens with the message: “They walk among us." It then presents a dramatic introduction claiming that for decades the US government concealed a major secret about “aliens" living in American communities. The twist comes later, when it becomes clear that the term “aliens" is being used to refer to undocumented immigrants.

The portal features a live counter tracking federal encounters with migrants and an interactive map displaying arrests carried out by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Users can zoom in on locations across the country to view details such as arrest dates, criminal charges, countries of origin and alleged gang affiliations.

A prominent section of the website also encourages members of the public to report “suspicious aliens" through an ICE tip line.

The launch follows months of speculation after the US government registered the domains alien.gov and aliens.gov earlier this year. The timing also coincides with the Trump administration’s broader push to release previously classified files related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unexplained aerial phenomena.

The website uses imagery and language commonly associated with extraterrestrial theories, portraying immigration enforcement as a form of “disclosure." It accuses previous administrations of hiding the true scale of illegal immigration and credits Trump with exposing what it describes as a long-running problem.

The move has quickly sparked debate online, with supporters praising the administration’s aggressive immigration messaging while critics argue the presentation is inflammatory and dehumanising.

The launch comes as the Trump administration continues to intensify immigration enforcement efforts, making border security and deportations a central focus of its policy agenda. According to the White House, the administration has overseen hundreds of thousands of deportations since Trump returned to office and has expanded ICE operations across the country.
